Which scent is for which room?
Hearth & Cedar is the quiet one — cedar, woodsmoke and tonka — and it suits a living room or a study. Fig & Vetiver is greener and lighter, better for a bathroom, a hallway or a desk. Amber & Smoke is the heaviest, with amber resin and burnt sugar: one jar is enough for an open-plan room.
How long does a candle burn?
About 50 hours for the 8.5 oz Hearth & Cedar, about 40 for the 6.5 oz Fig & Vetiver, and about 60 for the 10.5 oz Amber & Smoke — assuming trimmed wicks and burns of two to four hours. Long, short burns and untrimmed wicks all shorten it.
What is the wax?
A coconut-soy blend with a lead-free cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance at a 7% load. No paraffin, no dyes, no metal-core wick.
Burning & care
My candle tunnelled — can I fix it?
Usually yes. Tunnelling comes from a short first burn: the wax melts only in the middle and sets a memory. Press the rim down gently while the wax is soft, or wrap foil around the top edge for one burn, and let it reach the edge before blowing it out. If it still will not burn evenly, email us with a photo.
How do I stop the wick smoking?
Trim it to 1/4 in before every burn and keep it centred. A long wick, a draught or a burn longer than four hours will all make a candle smoke. If the wick mushrooms, trim, relight, and wipe the inside of the jar once it has cooled.
How do I use a reed diffuser?
Remove the cork, fit the wooden collar and stand the reeds in the bottle. Flip them every three or four days for a stronger throw, less often for a softer one. A 150 ml bottle lasts about eight weeks, a 200 ml about twelve. Keep it off painted or polished surfaces and away from children and pets.

When will my order ship?
Within 1–2 business days from Lexington, South Carolina. Standard delivery is 3–6 business days in the contiguous US, expedited 2–3.
Is shipping free?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $75 in the contiguous US, otherwise $6. Expedited is $14. Alaska and Hawaii are $12 standard, $22 expedited.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, where required. South Carolina deliveries include state and local sales tax (7% in Lexington), calculated at checkout. Shipping charges are taxable in South Carolina.
Returns
Can I return a candle I have burned?
Not for a change of mind — returns need an unburned candle in its original box, or an unopened diffuser. If something is faulty — a cracked jar, a wick that will not stay lit, a scent that is not what you ordered — email us and we will replace or refund it. See the Refund & Return Policy.
Can I exchange for another scent?
Return the unburned candle and place a new order for the scent you want — it reserves stock immediately.
