These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the WILSON JOE online store at wilsonjoe.shop and all purchases made through it.
Agreement
By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked below. If you do not agree, please do not use the store.
Products and orders
We describe items as accurately as we can, including wax weight, burn time, bottle volume and scent notes. Screen colours vary slightly from real glass, and hand-poured wax may show small surface marks or a slight colour shift between batches — neither affects how the candle burns. Scent is personal: what reads as cedar to us may read as smoke to you, which is why unburned candles can be returned. An order is an offer to buy; we may decline it for stock, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or delivery limits, and we will refund anything already paid.
Candle safety
Candles are an open flame. Burn them on a heat-resistant surface, away from curtains, paper and draughts; never leave one unattended or within reach of children or pets; keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 in and stop burning when 1/2 in of wax remains. Reed diffusers contain fragrance oil that damages paint, polish and some plastics — stand them on a coaster and wipe spills immediately. Follow the instructions on the product page; we are not responsible for damage caused by misuse of an open flame.
Prices, tax and shipping
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from the delivery address. Shipping costs are shown before payment. We may change prices at any time, but not after an order is accepted.
Returns
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy and our Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the catalogue for commercial use, or use the site unlawfully.
Intellectual property
The WILSON JOE name, product photography and site copy belong to WILSON JOE and may not be reused without permission.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WILSON JOE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including implied warranties that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lexington County, South Carolina.
